A little bit about me…
Hi, I’m Mya! I am a senior fashion merchandising student at Kent State University. At 21, I am soaking up my last semester of college before I graduate in December. If I had to describe myself in a few words they would be creative, honest, independent, and confident. My college years have taught me so much about who I am and I love the person I have become. Fashion has always been something I am passionate about. I have always shown my creativity through my style and makeup. Growing up, my friends didn’t look like me. I was shorter, curvier, and has a more unique body type. Fashion has helped me embrace my body and has taught me to love myself.
I have always dreamed about creating Mya’s look. I am here for my fellow college girls just trying to navigate life and look good while doing it. My goal is to reach the girls who look like me and think like me. I have found new confidence in my college years. I found a love for myself, others, fashion, and sharing my thoughts. We all love following each other’s fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, but no one has my take on them. Mya’s look is my outlook on life.
My readers are other college women, either navigating their college careers or, like me, getting ready to graduate and start the next chapter of their lives. They love fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content. They want to learn how to love themselves and feel confident in their own skin.
